Meet Our Director
Hi, I’m Dana Braunsberg, your Wee Care Child Development Center Director. I have over 20 years of experience working in early education and have been on the management side for the last 6 years. My career began as a before-and-after-school teacher right here in our community with the Pottstown Family YMCA. I then transitioned to teaching preschool and kindergarten after graduating from Bucknell University. My move into management was driven by my desire to shape and mentor future teachers and school leaders. I am excited to bring my love of early education as well as my fun, creative and outgoing side to my new role. I am super bubbly and outgoing and I love spending time with my amazing family. Both my husband and I were raised in the area. I’m a graduate of the Pottstown School District and have lived here my whole life. My husband and I will be married for 10 years in October. We have 3 girls, a 16-month old who is apart of our toddler program, a 7-year-old who attends summer camp and we are the proud parents of my 22-year-old God Daughter, a fellow Pottstown graduate and a recent graduate of Bloomsburg University. I look forward to many years of sharing your greatest joys!
