Here’s a little bit about the teachers and educators at Wee Care Child Development Center.

Miss Mengel – Owner

Miss Maria – Director

Miss Maria has been with the Wee Care family since 1990. She was the toddler teacher for 10 years and is now director. Maria has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery County Community College. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughters play sports. She is a proud member of the Relay for Life Team.

Miss Joyce – Infants

Miss Joyce has been a child care provider and part of the Wee Care Family since 1999. She enjoys reading, baking, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.

Miss Dawn – Infants

Miss Dawn has been with the Wee Care family since 2006. She enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. Dawn is involved in several committees in her church and volunteers during the holidays to distribute food baskets to the needy.

Miss Jacy – Infants & Toddlers

Miss Jacy has been a teacher and a part of the Wee Care Family since 1990. She has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery County Community College. Jacy enjoys spending time with her family, crafts, and sports. She is a member of the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta parish.

Miss Jean – Toddlers

Miss Jean has been a teacher and part of the Wee Care family since 2007. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Jean enjoys camping and spending time with her family and friends. She belongs to the Crazy Horse Monument and the Cherokee Foundation.

Miss Sarah – Toddlers
Miss Sarah has been part of the Wee Care family since 2015 and has been a teacher for 2.5 years. She attended East Stroudsburg University. She enjoy reading, knitting and crocheting in her free time and also volunteers at her church.

Miss Beckie – Older Toddlers

Miss Beckie has been a teacher and part of the Wee Care family since 2002. She attended Montgomery County Community College and Temple University. Beckie enjoys camping, Nascar, and her favorite teams are the Eagles and the Flyers.

Miss Michelle – Older Toddlers

Miss Michelle joined Wee Care in August of 2016 and she brings 13 years of daycare experience with her. She graduated from Shippensburg University.

In her spare time, Miss Michelle likes to spend time with her son and fiance, Kevin. She also likes to read and scrapbook.

Miss Crystal – Preschool

Miss Crystal has been a teacher and a part of the Wee Care family since 2000. She attended Penn College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Crystal enjoys shopping, going to her children’s sports activities, going to the beach, reading, and working will all children.

Mr. Harvey – Preschool

Mr. Harvey has been with the Wee Care family since 2012. He attended Penn State University and enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, and shopping. He is a member of the Phillies Fire Company.

Miss Jen has been a teacher and part of the Wee Care family since 2003. She has a degree from Alvernia University in Social Work with a concentration in Education. Jen enjoys spending time with friends and family, running and camping. She also enjoys being a part of Pottsgrove Soccer.

Miss Aimee has been a teacher and part of the Wee Care family since 1999. She received a degree from Millersville University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Aimee enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her children. She is very involved in Relay for Life and New Hanover PTCA.

Miss Katie has been with the Wee Care family since 2013 and helps will all ages. She attends Bloomsburg University and enjoys snowboarding. She is a member of Developing Ambitious Student Leaders at Bloomsburg.
