Wee Care in Sanatoga, PA Has Reopened with Newly Renovated Classrooms and Spaces for Exploration
Something exciting is happening on E. High Street in Sanatoga. Wee Care Child Development Center, a trusted part of the Pottsgrove and Pottstown community, has officially reopened following a comprehensive, thoughtfully phased renovation. If you have not visited recently, you will notice some wonderful updates throughout the center.
Every improvement was made with children’s daily experiences in mind. From classroom design to shared spaces, each detail reflects how young learners move, explore, and grow each day. Families can see and feel these changes from the moment they walk through the door.
Two New Classrooms, One Big Idea
The most significant addition to the center is two brand new classrooms: a Young Toddlers room and a Two Year Old room. Both spaces were designed with child development in mind, but one detail is especially meaningful.
For families who would like a closer look at how these classrooms were designed and what children experience throughout the day, we explore the details here:

The Young Toddlers room was intentionally placed directly next to the infant room. For very young children, transitions between classrooms can be one of the most emotionally challenging parts of the childcare experience. Placing these rooms side by side creates a natural bridge. Children can see familiar faces, hear familiar voices, and move into their next stage with continuity rather than disruption. It is a small architectural choice with a meaningful developmental impact.
A New Space for Curious Minds
Children now have access to a shared Investigation Station, a STEAM focused room featuring a sand table, light table, sensory table, and rotating hands on learning materials available across age groups. It is the kind of environment where questions are encouraged, ideas are explored, and curiosity becomes part of the daily routine.
Fresh Lunches from a Local Partner
Families will also notice an update to the daily routine: fresh, nutritious lunches provided by AAA Catering, a local vendor based at 211 W. Main Street in Lansdale. Meals are delivered daily and maintained in a newly reorganized kitchen designed to meet current safety and licensing standards. This change offers added convenience for busy families while supporting the overall wellbeing of children.
A Ribbon Cutting the Community Showed Up For
The reopening celebration drew strong community participation. Mayor Stephanie A. Henrick of Pottsgrove attended and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony, highlighting the center’s role within the local community. AAA Catering also provided samples from the lunch program, offering guests a preview of the new mealtime experience.
Every update we made was guided by how children experience the space each day. From the classrooms to shared areas, our goal was to create an environment that supports curiosity, learning, and a sense of belonging for every child who walks through our doors.
